Shihouhapou no Jutsu [All Directions Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Sounds in every direction of the opponents, usually done by rebounding your own sound off any object and directs it to the opponents. Confuses the opponent and makes them think where your actual position is during hiding. Can also manipulate surrounding sounds to make them seem louder or softer to the opponent.

Atama Kusari No Jutsu [Chained Mind Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
This technique uses intricate hand movements and subtle chakra waves to render the target hypnotized and incapable of movement. However, this effect will only last as long as the shinobi continues to perform the technique and the target can see the shinobi's hands. In other words, while performing this jutsu, you are helpless, but so is your target. If the target cannot see the shinobi's hands, the technique will not take hold.

Tsuiraku Nami no Jutsu [Crashing Wave Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
The shinobi makes a short row of hand seals and raises his hands up, calling a large wave of water from behind them. It is then possible to use a Suiton Ninjutsu which is hidden within the "wave" that hits the target as if the wave itself can hit them. When the "wave" does look like it's about to hit, the illusion breaks, giving the shinobi a limited amount of time to get through with it. This jutsu is not complex, and a Ninjutsu capable of such a task wouldn't be a problem either. The objective of this Genjutsu is to let shinobi perform a Suiton Ninjutsu with a heightened rate of success.

Magen • Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu [Demonic Illusion • False Surroundings Skill)

A low level illusion skill which orchestrates a traumatic scene which the victim is hypnotized into believing is happening.

Doton: Tenjou Gyakumodori [Earth Element: Heaven and Earth Reversal)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
This jutsu when applied on an opponent they will feel as if they are upside down with their feet still on the ground. The opponent will feel as if the direction of “down” is the direction of the sky. This genjutsu puts much stress on the mind of an opponent, since there is a strong feeling (mainly because the user has suggested it into the opponent’s mind) that if he or she would move one of their legs, he or she will “fall” into the sky. This genjutsu is superb at testing which genin or academy student has the bravery of taking a calculated risk, and is most used by academy teachers, rather than in combat. The easy way to defeat this genjutsu is to move one of your legs and the directions of up and down.

Henka Suna Ude no Jutsu [Ghost Sand Arm Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
This jutsu requires eye to eye contact with the target before execution. A mere seal, the sign of the snake, is used to activate the technique. This technique makes it appear that an arm of sand is suddenly reaching out of the ground for an opponent. It continues to reach and stretch for them for about a minute, or until the target or another physical object touches it showing that it is an illusion. It has one obvious weakness: An arm of sand is pretty unbelievable if it doesn’t come out of sand.

Suzu Senbon no Genkaku [Illusion Bell Needles)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Technique which uses special bells attached to throwing needles. The ringing of the bells acts as a catalyst for this genjutsu which disorients the opponent, causes a temporary loss in balance and makes it difficult to pinpoint to direction the bells are coming from.

Meimu Kirigakure no Jutsu [Illusionary Hidden Mist Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu

The user causes the victim to see and feel rain falling from the sky. The intensity of the rain is determined by the user. The rain can make it very hard to see.

Jisuberi no Jutsu [Landslide Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
When in some sort of a low altitude area, such as a valley or a canyon, the user of this skill can make his opponent see, hear and feel large boulders sliding towards them at a very fast rate. This does not only confuse and distract an opponent, but makes them waste their chakra and stamina trying to defend themselves from the non-existing boulders.

Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu [Mist Servant Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
A technique which creates numerous illusionary clones that pretends to attack an opponent. The clones are incapable of any real damage but they too are immune to damage. If any substantial physical force is applied to the clones they merely split and continue their illusionary attack. The user must maintain concentration and remain still for the jutsu to work properly.

Busei Heikou [Nature Merging)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
By changing the outer appearance of the user to that of a plant, he or she is able to blend in and hide in a forest area. The appearance depends on what the user is in contact with. This jutsu can be used to hide from an enemy or in an actual battle to set up as an ambush.

Shinkan no Jutsu [Silence Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Focusing on one target, the user can make him/her deaf for a total time of three posts. The user has to keep one hand focused before his own eyes to keep up with it during the whole time.

Nemuri no Jutsu [Sleep Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
A Genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat. Insomniacs have been known to use this jutsu on themselves.

Kouchi no Jutsu [Slow Down Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals the user may attack. However to the victim it takes five seconds longer for the user to even do the attack. Thus while the user now has a five seconds ahead of what the victim is seeing. As soon as the victim and the user make bodily contact this jutsu is dispelled.

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu [Sly Fellow Mind Skill)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
A complex genjutsu that uses chakra to subtly effect the victim’s mind and sense of direction as well as alter the surroundings. In the end the jutsu causes the person to begin walking in large circles. Although it does no damage within itself, this jutsu can be used to tire an opponent or lead them into a trap.

Ishikifumei Butsukaru [Senseless Strike)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that really pushes the limits on how well you can control your chakra. When you initiate the genjutsu, you must be watching your opponent the entire time. The opponent will be struck by illusionary lightning and be rendered senseless, only it is your chakra that is blocking the senses. This requires a good deal of concentration as the chakra flow must be kept low yet constant. Any higher than what it is needed will alert the shinobi that it is just genjutsu. The caster is rendered useless in this situation as they have to keep the concentration or it is broken off.

Raiton Chuuki [Thunder Paralysis)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
The opponent sees a flash of lightning in the distance, brilliant and bold. Immediately after this, the opponent is frozen in place, and cannot move their body. There are two drawbacks to this. If the opponent does not see the flash of lightning created by the Genjutsu, it will not effect them. Also, if the opponent falls asleep or passes out in this state, then the paralysis will immediately disappear.

Suna Arashi no Odokemono [Trickster’s Sand Storm)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
This jutsu causes the opponent to believe that a sandstorm is kicking up, blinding his vision, irritating his eyes, getting into his nose and mouth.

Tabiji no Hitotaba Hari [Journey of a Hundred Needles)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Low level Genjutsu, it is performed by tossing the needle in the air and performing the hand-seal of Raiun, and roughly 100 needles made up of lightning will fall out of the sky at rapid speeds and strike at the enemy. It does pretty much no damage at all, just a little shock on the body. This jutsu can be easily countered or dodged yet it gives the caster time to perform more complex jutsu in the meantime. The needle itself will either fall to the ground or if it was thrown in an angle that it comes down on the opponent and the opponent does not see, the opponent will be struck.

Mimiuchi no Jutsu [Whisper Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
The user can create a sound or a word (not a full sentence) and direct it to the target, so only the target can hear it, inside his mind, while thinking the sound comes from right next to him.

Ikamono Chishio [Fake blood)
Type: GenJutsu D Rank
Description: This genjutsu can create fake blood and wounds on the user’s body to fool the enemy that he/she is wounded. The illusion is only visual; it cannot trick the sense of smell.

Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu [Stupification Technique)
Type: GenJutsu D Rank
Description: The user locks eyes with the target and forces a hand seal. For as long as the two can keep looking at each other without being distracted or obstructed, both cannot move. When the user blinks, it's also over, so the maximum time of use would be two posts or so.

Suna Arashi no Shinto (Deadly Sand Storm)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A simple jutsu, but an effective one in the right hands. Originally created as a technique for pranks, the user forces the target of the technique to see and feel a small focused sandstorm. The sandstorms varies in severity based on the users intelligence, so while with 5 intelligence the sandstorm would merely sting the opponent with a constant barrage of sand, with 40 intelligence the sandstorms severity would seem to be such that it can strip an opponents skin off entirely, and the sandstorm can even carry with it additional objects to cause the target concern such as scorpions or small weapons. The sandstorm lasts for one post, plus one post for every five willpower the user possesses, while for every five willpower the opponent possesses, one post is deducted.

Hada no Kamereon (Chameleon Skin)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: Forming chakra in the area around them, the user creates a basic genjutsu that’s purpose is to help blend their body in with whatever surroundings are available. The illusion is not perfect however and higher ranked shinobi are far more adept in seeing through the genjutsu. This genjutsu has a base duration of 1 post, and for every 5 willpower the genjutsu lasts for one more post, while for every 5 willpower the opponent has, 1 post is deducted from the duration.

Ussou Kabe (Impenetrable Wall)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: An unusual genjutsu, but a useful one in the right hands. When an opponent is advancing directly towards the user, the user forms a single seal and then stretches their hand outwards in the direction of their attacker. When done correctly, the attacker will see a wall appear before them. The actual appearance of the wall varies and is dependant upon the users intelligence, with greater levels of intelligence making the wall more formidable, ranging from a simple wooden fence at the lowest levels (1 intelligence), to solid stone walls bound with strong steel girders with large steel spikes covering it. Any foolhardy or perhaps knowledgeable enough to attempt to force their way through it will either pass through unharmed, or feel as if they did infact strike a solid object (including the great pain one could suffer if striking one of the more formidable walls the user may create). Whether the target passes through or not is based on their willpower, if half the users willpower is equal to or less than the targets willpower, then the wall could be passed through.

The wall lasts for one post, and as a slight note, if the wall is attacked from a distance, say with a katon or a kunai for instance, the wall will appear to simply absorb the attack as if it were a real wall, but the attack will still pass through the wall, potentially striking the user of the technique.

Saboten Uchinuku Meimu (Cactus Punch Illusion)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: An illusion that makes the target believe that the user’s exposed skin are covered with hundreds of pointed spines, like a cactus. When the user punches the target, their brain is fooled into thinking that the spines are digging into the opponent’s flesh, stimulating the pain receptors more than usual. In reality, the punch is still the same strength. Additionally the opposite is true if the enemy tries to strike the opponent. This technique has a base duration of 2 posts.

Suna no Akushumi (Taste of Sand)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: Performing a few seals the user performs a genjutsu in which the user will imagine their mouth filled with sand. While not a particularly deadly jutsu the taste of the sand is quite disgusting and will usually cause the victim to stop what they are doing to spit the imaginary sand out. The sand will however remain until the jutsu ends regardless of what the target does to spit out the sand. The jutsu has a base duration of 1 post, and it lasts for 1 additional post for every 5 will the user has, while for every 5 will the opponent has 1 post is deducted from the duration.

Kaze no Totsunyuu (Rushing Winds)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Requirements: Willpower 6, Intelligence 6, Reserves 4
Description: Crafting a genjutsu around their opponent, the enemy will immediately notice the wind kicking up and beginning to blow violently against them, intensifying to such a degree that vision and mobility become severely hampered. Directions such as up or down become increasingly difficult to separate and even after the genjutsu ends the enemy is often left feeling extremely disoriented and nauseous. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Mougo Shibaku no Jutsu (False Strike Technique)
Rank: D
Type: GenJutsu
Description: This technique is a fairly simple one, but it is very useful in a tight spot. When an attack is nearing, the user of this technique forms a single seal to activate the technique, and then immediately moves to dodge the technique. The attacker instead of seeing the user dodging, will instead see (and if applicable feel) the attack strike their target with the appropriate effect (blood gushing out for example), and with their eye's drawn to the illusion instead of the real user, the user is afforded a short moment in which they are as good as invisible to their opponent in which they can use to either seek better cover, or even quickly counter-attack. While the technique is quite convincing, repeated use is not advised, as once the opponent is aware of the way to technique works, it is quite possible they may be able to counter it. This genjutsu has a one post effect, and must be performed again for continued use.

Kajikamu Doshaburi no Jutsu [Cold Rain Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
This genjutsu makes the opponent feel as though their clothes and anything that touches them is soaked with very cold rain. After a few minutes they will start to get the symptoms of hypothermia: shivering, slurred speech, loss of coordination and sluggish movements.

Dizorubu Kouu no Jutsu [Dissolving Rain Skill)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
A simple genjutsu that makes its target believe that it is raining blood and that they can smell a strong stench of decaying flesh and blood. Unfortunately, this jutsu has no forced effect on the user and thus is very limited in its use.

Suishi Hitokiri [Drowning Assassination)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
After performing the illusionary Suirou no Jutsu, the user begins to imply that he is going to be nice and allow the user to move...at the cost of his own life. He puts his other arm into the prison, and tells the target that he is cutting off the oxygen, informing him that the user will drown if he doesn't release himself from the prison. At that moment, the target will then believe that he is indeed drowning, and will feel as if water is in his throat and begin to suffocate. If the user of the Genjutsu is interrupted by either a jutsu or just attention altogether, the illusion breaks.

Jishin Genjutsu [Earthquake Illusion Skill)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
The user performs a short row of hand seals and then slams his hands on the ground. If the opponent sees the hands on the ground, then the illusion begins. The user appears to transfer chakra into the ground, causing the ground to shake. The opponent begins to feel the shaking, and lose balance of their body.

Erekutorikku no Jutsu [Electric Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
This genjutsu makes the opponent feel as though they are being electrocuted. (Doesn’t actually hurt them.) Their body will feel tingly and numb and it will feel as though their heart stopped beating. It's good at causing panic.

Nise Shookanjoo No Jutsu [False Summons Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
This crafty technique has the user mimic the hand gestures used to perform a summons. However, nothing is actually summoned except for an incredibly lifelike illusion shaped to the caster's will. The catch is that the shinobi's genjutsu skills will determine the size and detail of the chakra projection. (A genin might be able to create a false summons of a tracking dog, while a Jounin could create a false summons of Gamabunta himself). The illusion is extraordinarily lifelike and is indistinguishable from the real thing.

Tsumetai Sabaku Naito no Jutsu [Freezing Desert Night Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
This genjutsu affects the opponent’s eyesight by creating the illusion that it is nighttime. Everything will appear to be dark and shadowy, making it hard to see. It also makes it feel as though the temperature has dropped dramatically just like it would at night in the desert. If this genjutsu is not dispelled after a few minutes the opponent with start shivering uncontrollably and their muscles will feel stiff.

Kousho no jutsu [High Altitude Skill)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
An advanced genjutsu technique in which hypnotizes their opponent to make him or her think that they are on the very verge of an incredibly high cliff, always a few inches from falling down the abyss. The effects of this genjutsu are difficulties to breath (The mind believes that it's in a high altitude, meaning the air is very thin in oxygen), the body is suddenly very cold due to the winds blowing, vertigo etc.

Itoyuu Sabaku Dei no Jutsu [Hot Desert Day Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
This genjutsu makes all light seem bright enough that the opponent will have to squint or shield their eyes. It also makes it feel as though the temperature is rising. If not dispelled after a few minutes the opponent’s throat will become very dry, making it hurt to breath, and they will feel feverish.

Kutsuu no Kusaji [Plain of Pain)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
A powerful genjutsu that makes the opponent believe that the grass around them is sharp and strong. This is characterized by a glare on the grass, as though it where made of metal. This genjutsu also artificially instills fear of pain in its victim. Unfortunately, once the victim actually steps on the grass the genjutsu is dispelled.

Ishindenshin no Jutsu [Telepathy Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Not actual telepathy, but much alike it. Using a more advanced form of the Whisper technique, the user can create the illusion of full sentences in the target's mind. However, unlike with true telepathy, the user cannot hear the target's reply.

Suiganmourou no Jutsu [Drunken Sight Technique)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: A basic technique that makes the opponent see the world around him in a blur, as if drunk.

Fukushi no Jutsu [Double Vision Technique)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: This is a simple genjutsu that causes the opponent to see doubles of everything.

Senro Ue Fuku no Jutsu [Track Covering Technique)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: This is a simple genjutsu that allows you to cover up foot prints in mud, snow, sand and grass. With each step the user takes they send a small burst of chakra to their feet. The chakra that is left on the ground where they stepped creates an illusion that makes it look like whatever element they were walking in hasn‘t been disturbed. The illusion lasts for three hours and then begins to diminish.

Meisai no Jutsu [Camouflage Technique)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: This skill allows the user to become transparent and slink into the confines of a natural resource. It takes a small amount of chakra to initiate but it can take quite a bit depending on how long you wish to stay camouflaged within the confines of the natural resource. Elaborating on natural resources, it must be something like a tree or the ground or a boulder that has not been created or shaped by mankind.

Ikamono Chikara no Chakra [Fake Chakra Power)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: Another genjutsu that is meant to scare the opponent into surrendering or retreating. The shinobi makes it look like a glowing and sparkling chakra aura surrounds him/her, so that he/she is extremely powerful and dangerous. The color of the chakra is up to the user but it is often red, black or purple in order to make it look more evil and powerful. The enemy can see the chakra as well as feel its enormous (but fake) strength and presence.

Suguni Ouda [Instant Strike)
Type: GenJutsu C Rank
Description: For this technique the user must have eye contact with the target. A single hand seal is formed and the user vanishes with a loud bang. In an instant the user is standing in front of the target, a weapon (such as a kunai or katana) plunged into the opponent's body. The opponent feels a blast of pain and the shock of being stabbed, but then the illusion of the user vanishes, revealing it was merely genjutsu. This technique means to paralyze the target in temporary terror.

Sasori Muragaru (Scorpion Swarm)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A genjutsu that makes the target believe they have dozens of black scorpions crawling all over their body. On their head, face, feet, inside and outside their clothing, everywhere. It makes them freeze out of fear, and if the user decides to make the scorpions ‘sting’, the idea that he has been lethally poisoned can make the opponent actually break out in cold sweat and raise his body temperature to a feverish state. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Inago no Akushumi (Taste of Locusts)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: Similar to the Taste of Sand technique in which the user imagines their mouth suddenly filled with a swarm of live locusts. The imaginary locusts will try and crawl down the victim’s throat, which makes spitting them out a difficult task. Vomiting often occurs which usually dispels the genjutsu but leaves them open for attack. If no attempts are made to spit out the locusts or vomit them out, this genjutsu lasts for 4 posts.

Mougo Hagurakasu no Jutsu (False Dodge Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: This technique is often used subsequent to repeated uses of the false strike technique. Once the user believes their opponent is prepared to counter their false strike technique, this technique is often employed. Requiring only a single seal to begin, the user creates the impression that they have dodged the attack again. Instead however the user has actually remained in place, and have used the time to prepare to either defend themselves or counter-attack. The jutsu due to its simplicity (even simpler in some ways than the false strike technique) can be used in the same post as another stage three or lower technique, allowing the user to do things such as create a wall of sand to defend themselves for example.

Mougo Mukuro no Jutsu (False Body Technique)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A very simple but useful jutsu in which the user creates a false version of themselves. This is unlike a regular bunshin no jutsu in both its purpose, and the power of the technique. The false version of the user is created to look like the user has dead, the exact cause of death up to the user to determine and tailor to current circumstances. The body will to close inspection, look and even feel extremely real to any that look upon it, leading them to believe that they are indeed dead, and can even be cut apart and it will continue to appear as it if were real. This jutsu lasts for two posts, plus one additional post for every 5 willpower the user possesses, while one post is deducted for every 5 willpower the opponent possesses.

Gensou Kinko no Suna (Illusionary Sand Prison)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: Forming a series of seals, the user waits for a moment when they have direct eye contact with the intended target. Once the users and the target establish eye contact, the target’s viewpoint seems to shift, rapidly moving away from themselves and towards the person who used the technique. They will see themselves, with the sand around them reaching upwards to form into bars, creating a square prison around the user with no apparent exit. Once the prison is fully formed the users perspective will snap back to their normal view, and no time will have passed, but the prison they saw will be surrounding them now. If the target attempts to push against the bars, they will feel completely real and they will be unable to push through them no matter how hard they try as their mind affected by the genjutsu will hold them back. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Nanchou no Kaze (Wind Deafness)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsuDescription: Performing a few seals the user crafts a genjutsu in which the target will imagine the wind beginning to kick up and blow violently against them. It will intensify to such a degree that they will hear their ears beginning to pop and hurt, finally ending when they will imagine hearing and feeling their eardrums shattering. If they put their hand to their head they will see illusionary blood. Unless kai’ed the user will imagine themselves to be completely deaf for up to three posts.

Kaze no Tsume (Wind Claws)
Rank: C
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A simple but potentially effective illusion. First performing a short series of techniques, all around the area will feel as if the winds are rushing powerfully from the user, giving the impression that the user is infact quite powerful. Then, whenever the user wishes while the technique is still in effect, they may cast their hands in a certain direction towards one of the opponents they face. That opponent will feel as if the wind has formed into claws and is tearing through their flesh, leaving deep cuts. All who remain affected by the genjutsu will see the wounds, though only the intended target will feel the pain of the illusionary injuries. This technique has a duration of 1 post, and for every 5 will, one post is added to the duration, while for every 4 will the target has, 1 post will be deducted. E.g. if the target had a will of 20, and the user had a will of 25, the duration of the technique would remain at one.

Hitoiki no Chiri [Breath of Dirt)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
This genjutsu makes the opponent feel as though they are swallowing dirt instead of air when they breath. The opponent’s breathing with gradually become more and more rapid as they struggle to get in a breath of fresh air. If left unchecked, the victim could faint.

Sabaku Sanketsu [Desert Suffocation)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
The user makes the enemy believe that an enormous wave of sand has swiftly washed over him, burying him alive beneath it all and is crushing him to death. It immobilizes the target and makes it difficult for him to breathe, much less concentrate. However, no one has yet to actually die of suffocation from this jutsu; the most extreme case resulted in the victim passing out. It requires a lot of sand to be in the area in order for the technique to be convincing.

Tokeru no Tai [Dissolving Body)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
With the use of this jutsu one can make their victim watch in horror as their body suddenly starts to turn into a blood, acrid smelling pile of earth. They can feel their body breaking but no pain, only a simple helpless sucking feeling as their body's insides fall out from everywhere.

Karamu Soukon [Entangling Roots)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
This technique makes the victim think he or she is bound by roots or vines. Under the effect of the genjutsu, the opponent is unable to move despite the ethereal nature of the creepers.

Kyoufushou Meikyou no Jutsu [Fearsome Shades of the Dead)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
The user's eyes need to lock with those of the target, creating a stare which cannot be broken. During this time, the user digs up the memory of everybody in the target's past that died, and shows their deaths all over again, in gruesome shapes. If there are not enough people to show, the skill will continue by showing the deaths of those the target holds dear, no matter if they actually still live or not. Effect Lasts one # and then the enemy may remain disoriented for up to three # more.

Koudo Tenjou Gyakumodori [Heaven and Earth Reversal: Advanced Version)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
This is the same genjutsu, but with a twist: When the subject of the jutsu eventually moves one of his or her feet, instead of directions returning to normal, he or she will start to “fall” towards the sky, while on the outside world they will simply become dazed and oblivious to the world around them. The advanced version of the genjutsu isn’t used as a test as commonly as the simple version, mainly because at the wrong hands, the metaphorical fall may cause an actual coma, and in extreme and rare cases, death.

Ataeru Kanjoo No Jutsu [Inflict Emotion Technique)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
This is a fairly high level genjutsu where the shinobi temporarily changes the emotions of the target to his or her liking. The emotions imparted can be anything from ecstasy, despair, overconfidence, grief, etc. One would be advised against using this technique on teammates, however, since after the effect has passed, the victim remembers the one who used the technique, and almost always with hostility.

Raikou no Kisoku [Lightning Shackles)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
Using the metal of the weapons, this Genjutsu, when performed, causes a visionary bolt of lightning to come down and make a chain reaction to all the metal objects in the area. With this done, if the target is within this boundary circle (radius must be within at least 8 meters) then the lightning will bind to the victim/s' legs and arm. Although this is illusionary and does not harm, the chakra that had been used from the caster's body, binds the target to that area. The shinobi still has movement however, they cannot go from side to side or higher than they are, but they can duck attacks.

Mizu Taremaku [Water Curtain)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
A curtain of water from a nearby water source (either body of water, rain or mist) surrounds the attacker and the opponent making the latter believe he is trapped. The water starts rushing down, and this makes the opponent believe that if he rushes out, the water pressure will break his bones. As long as the opponent believes that he is trapped, the illusion can not be broken.

Kakkidzuku Shokubutsushi [Animated Flora)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
An illusionary technique which makes the opponent believe that the nature around him has come to life, acting under the orders of the ninja. Although it can't cause any real damage, this jutsu can nonetheless buy invaluable seconds to the user whether it is for escapes or surprise attacks. Indeed, with this technique the user can make the opponent think that trees came to life, acting under the commands of the user, giving the latter an undoubted advantage in the psychological warfare.

Kiretsu no Jutsu [Fissure Technique)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
The user performs a short row of hand seals and then slams his hands on the ground. Then, the target, if seeing the user's hands, begins to see the ground cracking and opening up. This fissure begins to look as if it is going to swallow the opponent.

Genkaku no Juuryoku [Illusion of Gravity)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
A genjutsu which affects the brain in such a way, the user's opponent feels as if they are walking in an environment of higher gravity. Consequently, muscles are strained since the body thinks they should work harder to compensate on the higher G-force, causing fatigue.

Nehan Shouja No Jutsu [Salvation Temple Technique)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
A high level illusion skill which is capable of putting a large crowd of people into a deep sleep, using imaginary feathers and chakra.

Mizu Taremaku: Ni [Water Curtain II)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
A higher version of the taremaku . The difference is that the opponent thinks that he is surrounded by raging waterfalls with a mist. The thundering sound and mist is heard and seen only by the opponent, dulling his or her senses.

Nemuri [Sleep)
Type: GenJutsu B Rank Medical Jutsu
A genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat. Takes one full post to complete.

Kitsunetsuki [Spiritual Possession)

Type: GenJutsu B Rank
Prerequisites: Ikamono Chikara no Chakra (Fake Chakra Power)
Description: An upgrade of the Fake Chakra Power illusionary technique. The chakra aura becomes bigger and more intensified. The user’s body starts to change into something evil, like a demon. The form is up to the user. He/she can grow longer sharper fingernails and teeth, change hair and eye and skin color, grow horns from anywhere on the body.

Genmu no Henshuubyou [Visions of Paranoia)
Type: GenJutsu B Rank
Description: This is an area effect that once the victim(s) have entered the area, for four posts they start to think that there are things watching them. The area effect makes it looks like there are shinobi in the trees or hiding. When seen through the corner of the eye they are there, yet upon moving the head to pinpoint the spies they seem to vanish. The technique stays even in a combat situation, and can be lethally distracting for the enemy.

Naisenranki no Jutsu [Internal Spawn Technique)
Type: GenJutsu B Rank
Description: Once that target is caught in the genjutsu (by seeing the user perform sealing) they begin to feel something moving inside of them. In a few moments slimy, blood covered tentacles come out of every orifice (mouth, nose, ears, eyes anything else in your imagination, wounds) in their body. It tastes like blood and many other bodily fluids (and makes strange squelching sounds). One of the effects is causing a gagging reflex. This gives the feeling of a helpless sort of weakening on the body.

Enmaku no Jutsu [Smokescreen Technique)
Type: GenJutsu B Rank
Description: Forming the hands into a seal, the user fills up the area with an illusionary smokescreen, impossible to penetrate with the eyes or ears. Only the user is not affected, and can use this as a perfect escape plan, or even an attacking strategy. However, the smoke cannot be felt or smelled, which may cause the enemy to realize it is an illusionary smokescreen.

Hyoukai Nikutai no Jutsu [Melting Flesh Skill)
Type: GenJutsu B Rank
Description: Upon watching the user form the necessary hand seals, the victim will see many chains suddenly surround and bind him to the ground, upright. Slowly, he will feel the flesh on his bones melt and drip to the floor, all over, on his limbs and torso and face. There is a great deal of illusionary pain involved, of course… Even after the effects are over, the victim feels compelled to pat himself, just to make sure he isn’t really melting.

Kuro Tatsumaki (Black Tornado)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
Description: The user creates the illusion that the enemy is trapped inside a whirling tornado. This jutsu can cause nosebleeds, headaches, intense stress on the body as it tries to escape the tornado, and depending on the victim’s endurance, vomiting. In worst-case scenarios, the opponent falls unconscious. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Kimitsushitsu Wana no Jutsu (Airtight chamber trap)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A genjutsu where the enemy will imagine themselves being trapped between four invisible walls with the space inside them completely devoid of any air. This often results in them blacking out from either holding their breath or suffering from the genjutsu’s effects.

Sakkaku no Meiun (Vision of Doom)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A genjutsu that requires the user to lock eyes with the target, in which the effects will not be immediate. However when the opponent attempts take some sort of offensive action against the opponent, they will get a strong impression that their attack will be anticipated and expected by the enemy (the user), leading them to believe that the user is infact prepared to counter their action. While the genjutsu has no other effects, the feeling of doom that accompanies it can be more than enough to force the user to pause, or rethink their actions, giving the user an opportunity to escape or counterattack while the opponent hesitates. This jutsu cannot be kai’d, and has a base duration of 2 posts.

Yawatanoyabushirazu no Suna (Sand Maze)
Rank: B
Type: GenJutsu
Description: After forming a series of seals, the user sends out a pulse of chakra, somewhat similarly to Yamanaka jutsus for switching minds with their target. As such it is possible to dodge the chakra, but as it is fast moving and invisible, one must be prepared for it in order to dodge. Once the blast strikes, the target will immediately see great walls of sand rise up around them, forming into a great maze. Though the walls of the maze are not vastly high, whenever the user attempts to leap above them, the walls will grow, and the maze is without any exit, as it will constantly change in order to keep the target inside. The user unlike the target of the technique will be able to move through the maze however they wish, and as such they may repeatedly ambush the target while still being able to retreat behind the illusionary walls to avoid retaliation. The maze has a base duration of three points, and lasts for one extra post longer for every five willpower the user possesses, minus one post for every five willpower the opponent has.

Eien no Sakura [Eternal Sakura)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
A user concentrates chakra into a seed and throws it straight up in the air near the opponent. The seed explodes with a hallucinating powder and thousands upon thousands of Sakura leaves fall. A sight that is truly beyond beauty, and it confuses the enemy on a physical and mental level. Physically, the leaves will distract the opponent, mentally, when combined with the powder makes the opponent realize that life is short and life is useless once you die. This lowers the opponent’s moral and fervor.

Musebu no Jutsu [Smothering Skill)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
The victim suddenly starts to experience claustrophobia, a side effect that the genjutsu is about to start. Soon after they are given the a very oppressive feeling of suffocation which tricks them into not breathing. Of course this jutsu becomes ineffective as soon as the victim passes out.

Kishibari no Jutsu [Tree Bind Technique)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
A Genjutsu technique where the ninja appears to vanish before their opponent's eyes, and then induces the idea that they have been caught and bound from behind by a large tree, which the ninja then emerges from for a swift kill.

Gotai Habamu no Jutsu [Body Stop Technique)
Type: GenJutsu A Rank
Prerequisite: Suguni Ouda (Instant Strike)
Description: The first primitive version of Leaf’s Kishibari no Jutsu. After forming the proper seals, the user seems to swirl and vanish into thin air. Instead of using a tree to trap the victim, it seems as though the user has appeared behind the enemy like a solid ghost, gripping the back of his neck with one arm. The victim feels a sense of paralysis settle over his body, and the user is free to do to his captive what he wants. The technique lasts two posts: in the first, the user disappears (and the victim can still move), in the second the user re-appears and paralysis takes hold, but it wears off after that one post of being unable to move.

Chishio Kayumi no Jutsu [Blood Itch Technique)

Type: GenJutsu A Rank
Prerequisite: Naisenranki no Jutsu (Internal Spawn)
Description: This requires eye contact with the enemy. Immediately after, the victim feels an incredible itching all over his body, and invariably, he will begin to scratch. Yet, the scratching both alleviates and heightens the itching sensation. The victim scratches harder, reddening his skin, and then harder still, eventually tearing some of his clothing and right into his own flesh. Still, the itching doesn’t stop—it seems to be taunting him right from his very core. The technique ends by itself after three posts; by then the victim will have scratched himself into quite the quivering, bloody mess. More than one shinobi to fall under this genjutsu has clawed himself right down to the bone.

Tataki Nouzui [Mince Meat Brain)

Type: GenJutsu A Rank
Description: This requires the user to make physical contact with the head region of the intended victim, even if it is just a tap on the back of the head. After, the enemy will feel the urge to sneeze, and will do so… but wait! What is that on his hands and the ground?

To the victim, he will see a tiny puddle of slimy, slightly translucent fluid with little bits of pale-pink, squishy meat, and he realizes to his horror that he’s just sneezed out a bit of his brain. Shocked, the genjutsu induces the victim to sneeze yet again, expelling more of his brain through his nose and mouth. The more panicked he becomes, the more he sneezes. Though there is little pain involved, being exposed to this genjutsu for too long may reduce the victim to an incoherent babbling mess, so convinced is he that he’s sneezed half his brains out. Proper counseling might help, if such is the case.

Jissei Muma no Jutsu [True Nightmare Technique)
Type: GenJutsu A Rank
Prerequisite: Nemuri (Sleep)
Description: This technique requires physical contact with the victim before it can take hold, and even then, it will only show itself after the victim has fallen asleep, whether by force of jutsu or naturally. In this nightmare, he dreams of being attacked and shredded by wild beasts, monsters, demons, perhaps all three, and amazingly, he can feel the pain from his injuries but will not wake up. The screams from this sleeping torture are chilling to hear. Even shaking or harming the afflicted person will not rouse him; he needs attention from a medical-nin. Afterwards, he may be afraid to sleep for several weeks. This is one of the longest-lasting genjutsu known to the shinobi world.

Nusumitori no Gokan (Theft Of The Senses)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: One of the more powerful genjutsu available in the sand, primarily due to the length of time its effects may linger for. The user performs a series of seals and targets an enemy. Within moments the target will feel as if a sandstorm is rappidly beginning, though they will not be able to see any sign of it with no measurable effect. However, within a few moments their sense of taste will begin to fade completely. Given time each of their other senses will fade as well in the order of taste, smell, hearing, touch and sight. Each of the senses dissapear slowly so one might doubt its usefulness, however the truth becomes apparent once the technique ends. Even after the technique finishes the targets senses will not return, this is because the technique actually inflicts targetted wounds upon the opponents mind, requiring attention from a medical shinobi before the senses will return. Each sense takes a total of two posts to dissapear for a total of 10 posts for all, and they will continue to dissapear until the user performs another jutsu, even something as simply as water or tree walking.

Sabaku Sanketsu (Desert Suffocation)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: The user makes the enemy believe that an enormous wave of sand has swiftly washed over him, burying him alive beneath it all and is crushing him to death. It immobilizes the target and makes it difficult for him to breathe, much less concentrate. However, no one has yet to actually die of suffocation from this jutsu; the most extreme case resulted in the victim passing out. It requires a lot of sand to be in the area in order for the technique to be convincing. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Kyougenjisatsu (False Suicide Technique)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: Forming a series of short but complicated seals, the user once they're finished appears to concentrate as if summoning a vast amount of energy. Once the technique actually takes effect, the user will appear to glow for a short moment, before the whole area around them seems to explode. Those close by will feel the power of the blast, and may even suffer slight burns. This technique however, is purely false. In truth no explosion has occurred, and the user will typically use that illusion to cover their escape, often combining it with other techniques such as the false body technique (though in this case it will likely create nothing more than a red stain upon the ground). Though this technique can seem harmful, creating fake burns from the explosion, its purpose is to provide opportunities for escape, or counterattack for the user, and due to how quickly the technique works, kai'ing is impossible, making it a very powerful technique. This genjutsu has a one post only effect, and must be peformed again for repeated uses.

Mitsugimono no Suna (Tribute of the Sand)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: This technique was originally devised be a rather mischievous teacher who wished to impress upon the class the fearsome nature of genjutsu, but once its effectiveness was seen it became a popular sand genjutsu. It simply starts with the user stretching their hand outwards towards the intended target, and slowing closing as if grasping some invisible object. The target at that point will feel a tightening in their body, as if one of their organs were being grabbed (note: the particular organ isn’t specific, but it is typically the heart). If the target looks down at their body at that point, they typically will see several claws of sand embedded in their body near the affected area. With one swift motion the user will then pull, and the target will see and feel clearly one of their organs being torn free from their body, leaving a gaping hole in its place. Naturally this is incredibly painful, but that is the nicest part of the jutsu for the target. Their body will quickly feel the effects resulting from the loss of that particular organ, and in the case of the heart, this will quickly lead to an incredible feeling of weakness such that any movement at all can quickly become impossible, as well as numerous other very harmful effects.

Shinkirou no Yogensha (Prophet’s Mirage)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: There are actually two parts to this jutsu. The user stares into the opponent’s eyes and makes him think of people dear to him, such as family, friends, even team mates. Then, the user creates an illusional setting, where the desert stretches infinitely and a red moon hangs overhead. In the desert formed by the genjutsu, the victim sees those precious people getting killed in horrible ways, all while the images float and swim out of focus, like objects sometimes do on a very hot day...It generates a feeling of helplessness and despair, and leaves the target open to attack. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Boufura no Ekirei (Plague of Maggots)
Rank: A
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A highly disgusting but effective genjutsu. Upon performing a few seals, the opponent will feel a slight squirming in their belly as if they’ve been infested by live maggots. After a moment the squirming will turn into sharp pains, as the “maggots” will begin eating their way from inside their body. Sharp pains will turn into agony as the user can feel every tiny mouth ripping and eating the skin tissue and tendons until finally they break through. Hundreds of fat white maggots will spill out of the torn stomach and writhe on the ground, usually resulting in the user collapsing unconscious from pain, shock or horror. The jutsu lasts for one post, plus one post for every 5 will the user possesses, and minus one post for every 5 will the opponent possesses.

Seibai no Shinigami [Death God’s Judgement)
Type: GenJutsu S Rank
Special: Admin approval, GenJutsu Specialist
Description: A technique that can literally scare an opponent to death. First everything becomes black around the victim and he/she can only see his/her own body. Suddenly a large spirit emerges in front of him/her… the Death God himself! The sight of the God of Death paralyzes most victims in fear. The Death God moves his clawed arm into the chest of the victim without causing any physical wounds and starts to slowly pull out the victim’s soul. The victim does not feel any physical pain, but still screams as the very essence of life leaves him/her and then has to watch as the Death God devours the soul. The technique can leave psychological damage on the victim and can only be restored by a skilled jounin healer.

Kaihen no Jutsu (Disintegration Technique)
Rank: S
Type: GenJutsu
Description: This is easily one of the most fearsome sand techniques, even among the ninjutsu and genjutsu. It begins by simply catching the targets eyes, and then immediately pointing towards one of the targets hands and feet. The target will feel the effects immediately, their hand/foot pointed to tingling and slowly starting to hurt. The target when looking at the affected area will see it crumbling, turning into sand rapidly, the effect seeming to spread from that point to the rest of their body. As the body crumbles, so to does the brains ability to communicate with the affected area. What this means essentially is that once the users hand or foot crumbles, they will loose all control over it, it will be completely useless. This applies to every part of their body, and can in fact be fatal if allowed to spread too far. To give a rough idea of how quickly this technique works, after the first post half the targets hand will be gone, by the second post it will have taken off everything up to their wrist, by the third post one quarter of the arm will be gone and their other hand will begin to disappear, and the by the fourth post everything up to their elbows will be gone. In two more posts both their arms will be completely gone and their feet will have disintegrated, By the ninth post half the users body including their chest can be gone, and it is at this point that most die. Even if the technique does not last long enough to kill, it is still an extremely debilitating jutsu.

A Wind Named Amnesia (Kaze no wa na Amnesia)
Rank: S
Type: GenJutsu
Description: A highly devastating Technique, in which the user performs a complex series of seals. Upon completion, a massive gust of wind will kick up and blow against the enemy, though despite its ferocity it will pass through them with seemingly no effect. The genjutsu is active at this point, though usually the target is unaware of this fact. It takes up to three posts for the full effects to be shown; in the first post the target will feel very forgetful and have a hard time focusing on what they are doing, as if they couldn’t remember why they were fighting or such things as that. In the second post the target will begin losing past memories and experiences, barely able to remember anything about their own personality save for their name. In the third post, their entire identity is practically erased, turning them into a mindless human with only the basic instincts of survival intact.
